Crowdfunding is the raising of funds through the collection of small contributions from the general public (known as the crowd) using the Internet and social media.

Crowdfunding is basically a crowd of people (fans/supporters) joining forces to support a common cause or project by contributing funds through the use of the internet and social media. Usually the case, Goods are offered in return as rewards to those who has contributed to the Project creating a situation where everyone wins.

There are two types of Funding Models:

  1. All-or-Nothing (Fixed) Funding Model– The Project Owner will only receive the funds raised if the Project has reached its Project Goal within the Project time frame. If the Project fails to reach its Project Goal, all money raised are returned back to the Contributors and the transactions cancelled. Project Owner receives nothing.
  2. Keep-it-All (Flexible) Funding Model – All funds raised no matter if the Project Goal has been reached or not are provided to the Project Owner to assist with their Project.

FANPUSH Projects are based on the Keep-It-All (Flexible) Funding Model, as we feel every little help when trying to raise funds.
